I’ll be the first to admit that I often miss viral videos and other geeky web trends. It was well after being rickrolled jumped the shark that I actually understood what it meant (and made Dennis’ obsession with Rick Astley on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia that much more funny), and that is just one of the many things that I’ve been late to the party on.
I’m sure many have seen this below video and remember the song from decades ago. I don’t. I’m not sure why, but I completely passed this by. I was listening to a random mix on my media player when the song “Star Trekkin’ from The Firm came on (from some Amazon bargain 1980s song collection that I downloaded at some point in the past). I laughed and searched it on YouTube – knowing that for anything you can think of, there is a video somewhere for it. I was right. There is, and it is good. It is also just below:

I’ve loved this song ever since I heard it on “Dr. Demento” many, many years ago. It rules.
