Always the student, I take good notes. :)

I tend to take more notes for a bad movie than for a good one. I'll remember the good ones, but will usually just ctl-alt-del the bad ones right into the forgotten zone.

Great reviews. Thanks for letting me know what to skip. The obvious objectivity is appreciated, too. Some people might say that reviewing movies would be a cushy job, but, as a person who has the attention span of a gnat, I know how hard it can be to sit through a movie, much less remember points to discuss afterward. I would probably choose waterboarding over that, so, for your efforts, sir, I salute you!

The whole premise of SM reminded me of that Onion article "Romantic-Comedy Behavior Gets Real-Life Man Arrested" http://www.theonion.com/content/node/29546. Maybe I didn't watch enough of it, but I walked away hoping both leads would die in a fire. YMMV, of course, and that's okay.

Rider Strong just looks creepier as he gets older.

Meanwhile, Timothy Hutton gets more awesome. I'll have to add that last one to my queue.
