[Trailer] The Green Zone (2010)

I like Matt Damon*. For some reason I always anticipate his films especially when they are of the thriller variety. The Green Zone is not only a thriller, but a violent thriller. It is not only a violent thriller, but one that teams Damon back up with Bourne 2 and 3 director Paul Greengrass. Yes! Below are three new television spots for the film.

*I do like Matt Damon, but he has been assigned the unfortunate nickname of “Bor-ring” (pronounced in two long syllables ) in my household. The reason is that my wife, her sister, and I decided on the spur of the moment to see the movie The Good Shepherd on its opening night. We were late arriving and the only seats where at the very front left of the theater. The Good Shepherd is a slow moving film with what seems like a gratuitous amount of close-ups of Damon. A good portion of the movie for us was spent looking up Matt Damon’s nose. In almost a three hour movie those nose hairs became both agitating and surreal. My wife’s sister is terrible at remembering names, so that night earned both The Good Shepherd and Matt Damon the name of “Bor-ring” which is a common reference point to this day.
