I have a healthy dose of respect for the spoken word/music of William Shatner. I know that many a person has broke our laughing at “Lucky in the Sky with Diamonds,” but his 2004 album Has Been is a touching piece of pop culture confessional that would enrich any album collection. It was Shatner’s attempt at a Grand Torino-like self exploration.
Even with that, I acknowledge that Shatner has no problem playing to his fame, poking fun at himself, and giving fans what they want no matter the level of camp.
In that spirit, I bring you William Shatner and his interpretations of WWE theme songs (yes, wrestling. This is for you, Workrate!) as performed live on WWE Raw on Monday night (02/01/2010).
