This is the real trailer, not the leaked one.
My attitude has gone from 0 to 60 in 1:42. This looks awesome, and in part what I mean by “looks” is that each character looks perfect. Neeson as Hannibal Smith? My god, perfect. Jackson is a pretty decent looking BA; Faceman and Murdock both look the part as well.
Yes.
The only problem that I have is that Stephen J Cannell is one of the producers and writers of the film. I know that Cannell was a part of some of the biggest television properties of the 80s — and was the creator of The A-Team, but frankly the guy is a piss-poor writer. I’ve tried reading a couple of his novels and those freaks are piled high with steaming piles of the most derivative and eye-rolling plots and characters that I have ever seen. The guy is not only a poor plotter, but throws thinly conceived characters at a reader page after page that are rife with such stunning archetypes as The Suave Hacker and the Rebellious Cop and the Hooker with a Heart of Gold. He is without question the worst (major published) author of novels that I have ever read in my life. I have read probably around 2,000 books.
So, 0 to 60 and then back down to about 40. Still, the trailer is awesome.
