Strap in and hold on! Some of the PopBunker.net gang are going to be guests this week on the sublime The Paul & Spike Show (TPASS). TPASS is not only a most excellent podcast that everyone should subscribe to, but it is also recorded for live broadcast on Radio Six International. Broadcast time is Friday at 5pm EST. I’ll link to the pod from this post once it drops on Friday (around 6pm EST according to Spike).
Who is on the show? That is our Canadian, North Eastern, Mid Western, and West Coast correspondents!
TPASS features an Over/Under segment where we will be discussing under and over-rated television shows from the 1990s; Pickin’ & Grinnin’ where Paul and Spike hack away on the banjo and cover the week in news (just like Hee-Haw); This Week in Stuff where the whole gang will talk about what they’re reading, playing, watching, etc; and the Bev-o-Choice where being above FCC regulations may result in one or more of the gang getting smashed on the air while drinking their beverage of choice.
Be sure to tune as well to get a leg on on how to win a BluRay copy of either Duncan Jones’ Moon or Michael Jai White’s Black Dynamite (Pop Bunker Movie of the Year and Runner-up respectively). I’m down. And it wouldn’t be like EVERYONE had to do it every week if they couldn’t, that way those whose schedules fluctuate can do it as they’re available. I think we should get on a Google Wave and hammer out some ideas for a format! If anyone needs a wave invite, let me know!
