Once more, our friends Chris, Aaron, and Caleb invited me back to Meltdown Comics to finish the conversation concerning women in comics in this week’s meltcast. Note: that was the plan, but perhaps unsurprisingly, there was way more on the table for this discussion. We talk more Morisson, lots of Batman (including resident Batmanologist Chris’s lovely Harley Quinn impression), and delve into the animated series some.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), the microphones were not on as we spent a little too much time imagining how a Bizarro Hal Jordan would look in the Star Sapphire uniform. You will, however, hear a fair bit about Chris’s lunch, Aaron’s Twitter debut, my t-shirt, Smiths-listening hipsters, soulless rednecks, the Rocketeer, and oh yeah – married or otherwise committed couples in comics. Also, you’ll hear some pretty shocking current events going on in the lives of some professional female writers in comics and otherwise.
