That lofty goal of 25% met by its predecessor.

I do hope that this fondness for remakes is not going to be a long-lasting trend. Two things I generally greatly dislike are remakes (because they are very rarely as good and are beholden to old ideas) and prequels (because they cannot take the mythology into truly new places and you know how they are going to end). There are rare exceptions, but I'd be fine if neither type of film were ever made again.Wishful thinking for sure.
