I'm a huge fan of QotSA and I've heard that the Arctic Monkey's were on a bit of a Nick Cave and Scott Walker trip during this album. Unless they've really grown in talent and depth, I can't imagine them reaching either of those artists lyrically or in sound-scape; but at least their soul is in the right place.
