   Well, they *were* toys before they were an animated series. Kind of lame toys at that, at least compared to GI Joe or He-Man. They just kind of stood there in their one pose per Smurf. Also, I think they were created by the Dutch, and I don’t know what to make of that.

     Actually I’m pretty sure they were a comic book from over there first. I’m not even gonna wiki it.
